Short crepe mother of the bride dress with draping

A short, straight crepe dress cut to the knee. The round neckline sits high, the dress is sleeveless and the clean armholes leave the shoulders bare. All the detail is at the front: the bodice is draped in diagonal pleats that meet at the left hip, held by a motif embroidered with pearls and satin thread.

From this point, an overlay panel cut on the bias falls over the skirt like an asymmetric peplum, finishing at mid-thigh.

The back stays smooth: an open neckline, a centre seam and a small slit at the hem so you can walk freely. The slim skirt finishes just below the knee.

The matte crepe holds the pleats without flattening them.
