Emerald green dresses

Emerald green is an evening colour, the opposite of sage: rich and saturated, it draws every eye in the room. Satin makes it spectacular; chiffon softens it without losing its depth. Our Emerald shade comes almost exclusively in long dresses.

A green for after dark

An emerald green dress is made for galas, dinners and evening weddings, rather than ceremonies in bright sunshine, where it can look heavy. In satin, used on 9 of our designs, it’s a real showstopper; in chiffon, it softens while keeping its depth.

Our most sculpted shapes

Of the 22 designs, 7 have a mermaid shape, the highest proportion of any of our colours, and 5 are sheath dresses. Ten have a high slit, five a train and five ruffles. Emerald suits structured cuts: it’s a colour that calls for a clean silhouette.

Necklines and backs

Five dresses have an asymmetric neckline, three are off-the-shoulder and eight are backless. On such an intense colour, an open back breaks up the block of colour and lightens the whole look: the first detail to consider if you’re planning to dance all night.
