Long satin mother of the bride dress with asymmetric neckline and slit skirt

A long dress in heavy satin, worked around a single line of draping. The straight neckline leaves the shoulders bare: two short, pleated bandeau sleeves slip under the arms and stop before the elbow. A fabric flower sits at the left shoulder, where the sleeve begins.

The bodice is pleated in a fan. The pleats run diagonally from the right side to the left hip, where they gather at a single point that defines the waist and sculpts the hips.

The skirt stays slim down to the ankle, with a front slit on the left leg rising above the knee. The back is clean, cut high beneath the sleeves, with a single centre seam and a low slit.
