A seasonal colour that’s here to stay
Terracotta rose to fame with rustic weddings and earthy, natural décor, and it hasn’t looked back. It works from spring right through to autumn and, after sage green, it’s our most requested colour for bridesmaids.
The designs
Eleven dresses are in chiffon and four in crepe: two matte fabrics that keep terracotta rich and earthy rather than orange. There are 7 A-line styles, 5 mermaid shapes and 4 sheath dresses, with a draped bodice on 17 designs and a high slit on 8.
Terracotta bridesmaid dresses
With 19 designs in the same shade, you can dress a whole bridal party in different styles. Terracotta also pairs particularly well with sage green: it’s the most popular combination for a two-colour bridal party, and several of our designs come in both.
Judge the shade in natural light
Terracotta looks redder under artificial light and pinker under a grey sky. As with all our colours, the only way to judge it properly is in person: find a stockist near you and book an appointment.
