Ellebeline takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect on ellebeline.com, why, for how long, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

2. Data we collect
We only collect the data you send us through our forms:
- Contact form: whether you are a boutique or an individual, your first name, last name, company, email, phone number, VAT number, how long the boutique has been trading and its country, and your message.
- Enquiry about a style (from a product page): name, email, phone number and message.
- Job application (Careers page): first name, last name, email, phone number, type of contract and position sought, CV and message.
Technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) is also recorded in the server logs and when a form is submitted, for security purposes.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your contact requests or enquiries about a style – Ellebeline’s legitimate interest in replying to people who contact it.
- Reviewing partnership requests from boutiques – pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- Processing job applications – pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse – Ellebeline’s legitimate interest.
We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, and we never sell it.
4. Retention periods
- Contact requests and enquiries: 3 years from our last exchange.
- Unsuccessful job applications: 2 years from our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Technical logs: 12 months maximum.
5. Recipients
Your data is only accessible to authorised staff within Ellebeline. It is hosted in France by our hosting provider o2switch (Chemin des Pardiaux, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand), acting as a processor.
When your request concerns trying on or buying a style, we may pass it on to the partner boutique nearest to you so that they can reply.
6. Third-party services
The website relies on a few external services. When pages load, your browser connects to their servers, which then receive your IP address:
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited): fonts. Data may be transferred to the United States.
- Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia): fonts.
- jsDelivr: technical files needed to display the website.
- LocateStore: map of stockists, on the Stockists page.
The social media icons are simple links: no data is sent to these networks unless you click on them.
7. Cookies
The website uses no advertising cookies and no analytics tools. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (session, security, display preferences) may be set; these are exempt from consent. You can block them in your browser settings, although this may affect some features of the website.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested beforehand.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to give instructions on what happens to it after your death. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

9. Security
Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS), access to data is restricted to authorised staff and the website is hosted in France.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or to regulations. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
