Long lurex bridesmaid dress with off-the-shoulder neckline and slit skirt

A long satin dress, cut from a heavy fabric that holds its pleats. The draped sweetheart neckline is held by two wide dropped bands sitting on the top of the arms, leaving the shoulders and upper back bare.

The draping crosses the whole bodice diagonally and gathers on the left hip in a pronounced knot of pleats. From there, the skirt closes over a high front slit, open to mid-thigh.

The line is mermaid: fitted from bust to knee, then flaring and extending into a train on the floor. The back is bare to the small of the back, framed by the two shoulder bands, and the draping of the skirt continues round the back.
