Short printed mother of the bride dress with strapless bodice and open back

A short dress combining two fabrics. The fitted bodice, in a matte, structured crepe, opens into a deep V-neckline and sits on wide straps set close to the shoulder.

At the sides of the bodice, at waist height, two small openings are crossed by a lattice of fine straps that let the light through in a chequerboard pattern.

The skirt starts from a waist defined by a clean seam. Cut from a fabric printed with large line-drawn flowers and foliage, it flares out from the waist with box pleats all the way round and finishes above the knee.

The back is cut very low: a deep V runs between the shoulder blades to the waist, framed by the wide straps. The skirt keeps the same rounded volume at the back, held by the body of the printed fabric.
