Short printed crepe mother of the bride dress with chiffon cape

A two-part look: a straight dress in printed crepe with a plain chiffon cape over the top. The dense floral print of large watercolour blooms covers the whole skirt and shows softly through the overlay.

The cape starts from a round neckline, covers the shoulders and falls in wide sleeves to the elbow. Its cut is asymmetric: it drops lower on the left side to a point, leaving the skirt visible beneath. The back of the cape has a centre slit fastened with a button at the nape.

The dress skims the body without clinging and finishes above the knee. The sheer chiffon softens the contrast of the print on the upper body.
