Short crepe and lace mother of the bride dress with V-neck and button back

A short, straight crepe dress cut to the knee. The V-neckline is edged with beaded embroidered lace that runs over the shoulders and dips to a point on the upper bodice. Flutter sleeves in the same fabric open into wide ruffles falling above the elbow.

The back is where the detail lies: a sheer tulle yoke joins the shoulders, embroidered with a symmetrical beaded guipure pattern that runs down to the shoulder blades. A row of small covered buttons fastens the back along the full length of the bodice to the waist.

The skirt stays slim, with no fullness, a centre seam and a hem at the knee. Darts shape the waist without any belt.
