Chiffon wedding shawl with beaded neckline

This wedding shawl is cut from a fine chiffon. It doesn’t tie: you slip it over your head and it rests on the shoulders like a short poncho.

The round neckline is edged with a beaded trim that catches the light. It’s the only embellishment on an otherwise completely plain piece.

The fabric falls in points on either side, at elbow height. This cut lengthens the arm and avoids the bulky look of a straight shawl.

It comes in ivory for the bride and in a darker shade for a wedding guest. Its sheerness suits dresses whose belt or neckline needs to stay on show.
