Four elements, rarely on their own: a slit that opens the skirt over the leg, a truly bare back, a mermaid<\/a> or sheath cut that follows the body, and a corset that defines the waist. A dress needs at least two of them to appear here.<\/p>\n It's the most visible element, and the easiest to tone up or down: edged with lace<\/a>, a slit feels softer; a clean-cut slit is bolder. The sensuality comes from the cut, not from a lack of fabric.
