A <a href=\"\/en\/bridal-accessories\/boleros-jackets\/\">wedding bolero<\/a> or bridal jacket covers the shoulders and stops at the waist or just below. A <a href=\"\/en\/bridal-accessories\/capes-shawls-stoles\/\">bridal cape, shawl or stole<\/a> rests on the shoulders, without sleeves. And a <a href=\"\/en\/bridal-accessories\/detachable-skirts-trains\/\">detachable skirt<\/a> or train transforms the dress itself.\n<h2>Matching your dress<\/h2>\nThis is the one thing you can't fix later. Ivory and pure white don't mix: side by side, the difference shows straight away in photos. Our accessories use the same shades and lace as the <a href=\"\/en\/wedding-dresses\/\">wedding dresses<\/a> they're designed for, so you'll never have to compare two whites under boutique lighting.\n<h2>To cover your shoulders, or not<\/h2>\nThe question mostly comes up for church weddings, where bare shoulders aren't always welcome, and for autumn and winter weddings. A lace bolero covers you without hiding the neckline; a long cape covers the back and comes off in one movement. Both can be removed after the ceremony, so you can choose a <a href=\"\/en\/wedding-dresses\/backless\/\">backless dress<\/a> and still have a church wedding.\n<h2>Two looks, one dress<\/h2>\nA detachable skirt over a straight dress adds volume for the ceremony and comes off for the evening.
