This wedding shawl is cut from a fine chiffon. It doesn’t tie: you slip it over your head and it rests on the shoulders like a short poncho.<\/p>\n
The round neckline is edged with a beaded trim that catches the light. It’s the only embellishment on an otherwise completely plain piece.<\/p>\n
The fabric falls in points on either side, at elbow height. This cut lengthens the arm and avoids the bulky look of a straight shawl.<\/p>\n
It comes in ivory for the bride and in a darker shade for a wedding guest. Its sheerness suits dresses whose belt or neckline needs to stay on show.<\/p>\n
