It doesn&#8217;t hide the dress: it accompanies it, letting the cut show through.<\/p>\n<p>A high lace collar fastens the cape at the neck. That&#8217;s what holds it in place, with no ties at the shoulders or wrists, so the panels fall freely.<\/p>\n<p>Both panels run the length of the body to the floor. Over a mermaid dress, they extend the vertical line and add movement with every step.<\/p>\n<p>It covers the back during the ceremony and then comes off completely. Its sheerness suits dresses whose lace bodice needs to stay visible.<\/p>\n<p>Made in ivory.
