The bodice is draped in diagonal pleats that gather at the side beneath a wide band of fabric across the waist. The dress hugs the hips, then flares out clearly from the upper thigh: the skirt opens into vertical panels that gain fullness towards the hem and sweep the floor.<\/p>\n
The back is straight and bare, closed with an invisible centre seam, with the same band defining the waist and the same flare at the hem.<\/p>\n
