Duchess satin gives this long dress its structure and soft matte sheen. The strapless bodice is shaped into two curves separated by a deep central point, with pleats radiating out from the side seams.<\/p>\n
The waist dips to a point at the front, marked by a horizontal seam across the hips. The skirt then opens into a wide A-line, with box pleats all the way round, two pockets hidden in the side seams and a hem that touches the floor and curves slightly at the back.<\/p>\n
The back stays clean, with no embellishment: a straight bodice, an invisible centre fastening and the same full skirt falling in heavy pleats.<\/p>\n
