Jacquard gives this long dress all its structure. The abstract pattern suggests a landscape painted in broad brushstrokes, with woven relief that catches the light. The straight neckline dips slightly into a V at the centre and is held by two wide straps on the shoulders. The bodice is boned like a corset.<\/p>\n
A neat seam marks the waist, from which wide box pleats open into a skirt that flares to the floor. Two pockets are hidden in the side seams. The back dips into a deep U between the shoulder blades, framed by the same wide straps.<\/p>\n
The jacquard holds the volume of the skirt on its own, with no visible petticoat. The look stays understated: no embroidery, no added embellishment. The pattern says it all.<\/p>\n
